2026 Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary First Look
A retro-inspired appearance package commemorates 60 years of Bronco heritage.
Ford
Sixty years ago, in August 1965, Ford introduced the Bronco, marking the first time the automaker applied the term "sports utility" to one of its vehicles. Since then, the Bronco has achieved near legendary status among Ford and off-road enthusiasts. To commemorate the occasion, the company has introduced the 2026 Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary package, blending retro styling with modern capability.

Ford's 60th Anniversary Bronco Gets a Retro Look
In creating the 60th Anniversary package, Ford used the Bronco Outer Banks trim level equipped with elements of the Sasquatch package as the foundation. Because it's primarily an appearance package, most of what's special about the Bronco 60th Anniversary appears on the outside.
For starters, all 2026 Bronco 60th Anniversary SUVs come with a roof painted in Wimbledon White — an original Bronco color. From there, buyers may choose either a Wimbledon White or Ruby Red body.
Up front, the distinctive grille design hearkens back to the original Bronco. Painted in Warm Alloy, a light silver color, the grille features "BRONCO" lettering in Vermilion Red. A Bucking Bronco logo appears on the front fenders, and a contrasting body stripe that includes a Bronco 60th anniversary logo runs along the bottom of the doors (a red stripe on white Broncos and vice versa). Ford also installs full-length running boards below the doors.
Affixed to the center of the swinging tailgate is a solid Wimbledon White spare tire cover with Vermilion Red BRONCO lettering, similar to the grille. A matte black Ford badge also appears on the tailgate.
In a nod to the original Bronco, the center caps of the 17-inch Gravity Gray alloy wheels are painted Vermilion Red and feature a central Bucking Bronco logo and a "1966" inscription on the outer ring.

Premium Interior Materials for the 2026 Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary Edition
Whereas the exterior design of the Bronco 60th Anniversary emphasizes the SUV's heritage, inside, Ford's focus is more on providing owners with a premium cabin experience. However, there are certainly some retro themes as well.
Upmarket touches include Ebony (black) leather seats with Alpine (white) inserts. The seatbacks feature an embossed 60th Anniversary logo, while Ford covers the armrests in marine-grade Alpine vinyl. Alpine dashboard stitching complements the Bronco Red accents on the instrument panel and the new grab handles mounted to the windshield pillars. Per Ford, grab handles will be standard on all 2026 Broncos.

Ford's 60th Anniversary Bronco Has Modern Mechanicals
As Ford bases it on the Outer Banks Sasquatch package, the new Bronco 60th Anniversary isn't all show and no go. Indeed, it has a standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine making 300 horsepower, and buyers can upgrade to a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, which makes 330 horsepower on the Outer Banks.
The package also includes 35-inch Goodyear rugged-terrain tires, an advanced four-wheel-drive system, 11.5 inches of ground clearance, a more aggressive final drive ratio, and electronic-locking differentials at the front and rear.
Ford said prospective buyers should be able to order the new 2026 Bronco, including the 60th Anniversary package, starting in October 2025. The automaker is expected to announce pricing shortly before then.
